Profesional Torch Down Roofing

Torch roofing is an effective method for ensuring the waterproofing and durability of roofs in various constructions. Also known as waterproofing with asphalt membranes, is a method used in construction to seal and protect roofs and other structures. This process involves the use of modified asphalt membranes that are applied to the roof surface by heating with a propane torch.

Application process

Advantages

- High durability and resistance to weather conditions.
- Excellent waterproofing.
- Adaptability to different types of roofs.

Disadvantages

- Requires experience to avoid mistakes in application.
- The use of torches can be dangerous if not handled properly.

The roof area is cleaned and prepared, ensuring it is free of debris and moisture.

The asphalt membrane is unrolled over the prepared surface.

A torch is used to heat the bottom of the membrane, causing the asphalt to melt and adhere firmly to the roof surface.

The joints between the sections of the membrane are sealed using the same process to ensure complete waterproofing.
